WAB’s Board consists of Warren Murphy, Tim Flato, Dan Yueh and Richard Harris; Kyle Jackson is Company Secretary. Richard will be the main contact person for the local community: he has decades of experience in WA in energy policy and project development. He is also Chairman of the WA Independent Power Association.
WestGen is a WA-based firm, founded by four of its current directors who have collectively been responsible for the development, financing and construction of over 2000MW of power station projects in Australia, including 700MW in WA. WestGen’s team developed and financed the Walkaway Wind Farm near Geraldton, as well as the NewGen Kwinana and NewGen Neerabup gas-fired power stations.
National Power’s team also has decades of experience in developing, financing and operating power projects in Australia and other countries. National Power has special experience and expertise in the development of biomass power stations.
